DRYWALL BOARD INSTALLATION WITHOUT A TRADITIONAL FRAME

MICHNO SYSTEM is a new system for installing plasterboard and drywall boards. It allows contractors to build drywall wall linings and pre-walls without a traditional frame made of aluminium profiles. The solution was designed for contractors, renovation teams and installers who want to fit drywall boards faster, more accurately and more comfortably on uneven or problematic walls.

The system was developed by Zbigniew Michno as a response to real problems that appear during renovations of apartments, houses, tenement buildings, bathrooms, kitchens, corridors and attics. In these spaces, walls are often out of plumb, uneven, distorted or require local correction. Traditional drywall installation on a frame can be time-consuming, material-heavy and can take away valuable room space.

DRYWALL CONSTRUCTION AND WALL LINING WITHOUT A TRADITIONAL FRAME

In a traditional drywall system, the contractor usually has to build a complete profile structure, measure it, cut the profiles, level them and set everything in position. This means more components, more work, more waste and a higher risk of mistakes. In small rooms such as bathrooms, toilets, kitchens and narrow corridors, the loss of usable space is an additional problem.

Michno System simplifies this process. Instead of building a full frame for drywall boards, the contractor installs special point profiles that make it possible to position the board at the right distance from the wall. This allows local correction of uneven surfaces, wall geometry adjustment and creation of a flat, stable surface for finishing work.

SYSTEM FOR INSTALLING DRYWALL BOARDS ON UNEVEN WALLS

The key advantage of MICHNO SYSTEM is precise positioning of drywall boards where the wall is uneven, crooked or out of plumb. The contractor marks out a new plane with a laser, places the mounting points, adjusts the correct distance from the wall and then screws in the drywall board. This makes wall lining installation more orderly, predictable and easier to control.

In practice, this means less profile cutting, less heavy carrying, less improvising on site and better control over the final result. The system is especially useful wherever a traditional frame would be too bulky, too time-consuming or would unnecessarily reduce the available room space.

SPACE SAVING WHEN INSTALLING A DRYWALL WALL LINING

With classic drywall installation, the structure often has to be moved away from the wall more than the uneven substrate actually requires. As a result, the room loses extra centimetres. Michno System makes it possible to set the distance point by point, exactly where correction is needed. This helps reduce space loss and use the room more effectively, especially in small bathrooms, kitchens, corridors and renovated spaces.
