MICHNO SYSTEM point profiles for walls and ceilings
MICHNO SYSTEM point profiles are a modern solution for creating an even, stable and precisely aligned structure for wall and ceiling installations. The system allows you to quickly define a new installation plane and compensate for unevenness in the existing substrate without the need for traditional, extensive framing systems.
This practical solution is suitable for renovating apartments, houses, commercial premises, offices and old buildings where walls or ceilings are not perfectly even and the installer needs a stable base for plasterboard or ceramic tile cladding.
What are point profiles used for?
MICHNO SYSTEM point profiles allow you to precisely set a new wall or ceiling plane regardless of irregularities in the existing substrate. After marking the reference line with a cross-line laser, the profiles are installed in a planned grid and then adjusted to one plane. This makes it possible to obtain an even and stable structure for further installation of plasterboard, built-in structures or ceramic tile cladding.
Main product advantages
- enable precise levelling and alignment of wall and ceiling planes,
- allow compensation for unevenness in the existing substrate,
- provide stable point support for plasterboard,
- are also suitable for walls prepared for ceramic tile cladding,
- make it easier to maintain an even plane without a traditional frame,
- help reduce the risk of installation errors,
- make it easier to plan angles, reveals, window openings and door openings,
- technology confirmed by patent no. P.443130,
- made in Poland.

Installation conditions and rules
Before installation, a new wall or ceiling plane should be marked using a cross-line laser. This is one of the most important stages of the work, because the accuracy of the plane alignment determines the evenness of the entire structure and the final visual effect.
At several points, the distance between the existing surface and the laser line should be measured. This makes it possible to determine the maximum deviation of the substrate and select the appropriate profile length. For minor unevenness, an L50 or L80 profile can be used, while for larger deviations, the L130 or L180 variant should be selected.
Planning walls, angles and openings
After setting the plane, it is worth planning the angles between the walls, especially in kitchens, bathrooms and built-in recesses. Maintaining a 90° angle can be essential for the later installation of furniture, shower cabins, bathtubs, tiles or other fixed elements.
Attention should also be paid to reveals, window recesses and door openings to maintain their even depth and aesthetic appearance after the work is completed. In rooms where a perfect angle is not required, the visual evenness of the walls may be the main reference point.
Positioning of point profiles
The profiles should be positioned according to the planned fixing grid. The first hole is made approximately 10 cm from the wall, and the next ones every 40 or 50 cm. For walls intended for tiles, a 40 × 40 cm spacing should be used to ensure adequate stability of the structure under ceramic cladding.
To ensure that the joints of 120 cm wide plasterboards fall exactly on the axis of the discs, their layout should be properly planned. After fixing the first base disc, the remaining profiles are adjusted to the same plane, checking the alignment with a laser and spirit level.

Why choose MICHNO SYSTEM?
MICHNO SYSTEM point profiles help quickly and accurately prepare an even plane for wall and ceiling installations. This solution is designed for contractors who want to reduce the number of profiles, simplify installation, maintain control over the level and avoid corrections at later stages of work.
The system is suitable wherever old walls or ceilings require correction and the final result must be even, stable and ready for professional finishing.
